Too Posh To Pitch
Never been camping and want to ease yourself in gently, or perhaps you have always wanted to sleep in unusual accommodation? Our Tinkers or even a tree tent could be for you. Situated on Wardley Hill Campsite you will be part of the camp site community if you wish and can have friends bring their tents to pitch nearby. You can then wave at them from your carpeted camping palace and gloat about how comfy your proper double bed is. Some call this Glamping, we call it 'too posh to pitch'.
The Tinkers Hut
This is a tiny house on wheels..a shepherds hut gone big!

Ideal for a family with one king size bed and three children's single beds in a bunk bed arrangement. All your bedding and towels are provided along with hot water bottles.
A large sofa for hanging out by the woodburner is provided. A full size kitchen with hot and cold running water and all your crockery cutlery and cooking items. A small fridge is provided along with a 2 ring hob.
Outside on a private deck guests have a picnic bench and fire pit with bbq.
Your own toilet is situated by the front door on the deck and below deck a hot shower.

Hilda, The Shepherds Hut
Step inside our Shepherds Hut and warm yourself by the crackling fire! This cosy hut sleeps up to three in a double bed and single bunk bed. The beds are supplied with 100% cotton sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover.
You have exclusive use of a handmade composting toilet with a stable door and view of the neighbouring field and a hot shower.
The hut has a real vintage charm, but also has plenty of modern conveniences: its eco-friendly hidden solar panel runs a set of lights, and even has a usb sockets to charge your phone. The authentic wood burning stove is a gorgeous addition, keeping the hut snug at night and can also be used to heat a camping kettle.
There is a gas cooker and sink with a cold tap.
Outside you'll have a picnic bench with parasol and a fire bowl with removable cooking grill.
When the sun goes down and you are snuggled up in front of a glowing fire, staying in a field doesn't get much better than this.

The Tentsile Connect is a 3 person tree tent (a.k.a. portable treehouse). With a removable fly sheet, it offers you and your family the chance to connect with nature. Enjoy some 'forest bathing' and a sleeping experience you'll never forget.
Bring all your normal camping equipment, but leave your tent at home.
£72 per night for 1-3 people.
£65 per night when booking more than 1 night.

Tentsile Connect Tent in early January
The Touareg Bell Tent
Sleeping for 2 adults and 2 children.
​
A 4x5 meter bell tent with an extra high door. This tent will accommodate two adults and two children or be spacious for a couple. The tent comes with a real double bed with proper mattress and 2 futon bed chairs. The main beds will be covered with 100% cotton sheets, duvet cover and pillow cases. The futon beds will be made up for any children on the booking.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with solar powered lighting.
Outside there is a fire pit with swinging grill and a picnic table with parasol.

Pets are not allowed in our tents but are welcome in our huts for a fee.
