Stand Up Paddleboarding

The river Waveney which forms the border between Norfolk and Suffolk passes just a mile from the campsite. You can collect from the campsite or we will drop you and your boards depending on water level behind Bungay Castle or near the old railway line and collect you again from Bungay Staithe, Ellingham Mill or the Locks Inn at Geldeston.

This section of the river is motorboat free and peaceful. You will have the opportunity to see all sorts of wildlife from Kingfishers to Otters. The river is alive with fish including Rudd, Perch, Tench, Bream and Pike.

Our premium Red 10'6 Paddle boards are rented in a pair for two people at £80 for the day including delivery and collection from the river.

There will be a waiver form to be signed and a credit or debit card will be needed for a deposit. Buoyancy aids, waterproof phone cases and a dry bag will be provided.

Boards can also be rented via 'Spinlister'

Please email us at hi@SUPwaveney.com or info@wardleyhillcampsite.com to arrange your paddling adventure.
