Wardley Hill Campsite, established in 2014 is an award winning ecological family owned and operated off grid campsite in the Waveney Valley close to the Norfolk Broads and Suffolk Coast. Wild flowers and grass are left to grow to provide habitat for insects, Hares and shrews who can be heard chatting away. The long grass surrounds lush mown unregimented camping spots for you to choose, some small and secluded while others are big enough to fit large tents.

Our twelve-acre site has some woodland, a small stream and three seasonal ponds which can be safely explored when dry during the summer. Our 6 acre car free camping field is exclusively for tents while campervans and vehicles with rooftop tents are also welcome to stay with us in their own area. For those of you looking for a Norfolk glamping experience we have self catering options . Two hand crafted cabins, The Tiny House and the Tinkers Hut. We even have an exclusive use field for 4x4 expedition vehicles with its own shower.

Our facilities on site offer an authentic back-to-basics camping experience with three clean composting toilets, a urinal and two open topped showers with hot water. Drinking water is provided around the site. Campfires are encouraged in our fire drums and dogs on leads are welcome.

In addition to the camping field we have a recreation field where dogs and campers alike can run free. Perfect for a game of cricket or an afternoon of kite flying.

Wardley Hill is about quietly relaxing amongst our beautiful surroundings, cooking on open fires, watching dragon flies flit by and snoozing below the stunning East Anglian sky. Think Swallows and Amazons, Enid Blyton & Ray Mears. You won't find electric hook ups, hot tubs, numbered pitches or a  petting zoo and bar here.

Choose where ever you want to pitch your tent and have a peaceful and relaxing stay in the South Norfolk countryside.
